Participants to the solo masterclasses are students who are at the Concerto level. The first part of each masterclass is a performance of the student, concert style, followed by the teachers' comments.
Handpicked students from the MSOMA will perform student concertos in 30-minute masterclasses. We also have participants coming from Lourdes Strings, a group based in Lourdes College, Cagayan de Oro City. The MSO has been helping in mentoring these young musicians since its inception in 2014.
A few of the soloists are playing with pianists Mariel Ilusorio and GJ Frias while others will be performing with pre-recorded accompaniment.
