Paul has been a member of the MSO since 2009 and has performed numerous concerts with the orchestra including its gala concerts, ballet productions, outreach concerts, tours including the Candon Music Festival in 2019 and MSO’s first international concert, the 5th Hunhe River Bank Symphony Music Festival, in Shenyang, China in 2019. Paul also played second violin at the Banaue International Music Composition Competition in 2018. He was the conductor of the Mirabilia Dei Children’s Choir at the 41st Internaional Bamboo Organ Festival in 2016. Paul was mentored by Rodolfo Palma, Jareena Inacay Texon, Denise Santos Huang, Noel Martin, and Ivan Saraza. He participated in various seminars/ trainings including Fundamental Mastery: An Online Violin Teachers Workshop for teaching beginners by the Philippine Suzuki Association (2020), Youth Orchestra Festival facilitated by St. Scholastica’s College (2017-2019), the 7th Asian Region Suzuki Conference in 2018, and the Cultures and Harmony Workshop, to name a few. He also completed Masterclasses conducted by Diomedes Saraza Jr. and Rebecca Sclappich.
Paul graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Music major in Music Education with Violin Principal from St. Scholastica’s College. He is a licensed teacher and is currently a faculty member of Philippine Research for Developing Instrumental Soloists (PREDIS) and Mirabilia Dei String Orchestra.
