Dione Lhorell Reyes

Strings | Violin 2

“Since 2018, I’ve been playing with the MSO as a casual but it was only last 2019 that I became a regular member of the orchestra. It was always my dream to join and play with them because I enjoy watching their concerts since I was young . Working with MSO has taught me to be more matured in my career. As a music student, MSO has been a big help for me in making music and my performances better. I know I’m just starting in my music career, but everytime I play with MSO, I feel like I am not just working for myself or for a job. I really feel that I enjoy what I do; I find passion and fulfillment in making music with MSO. Everyone is helping one another to be better musicians and better people. I am blessed and will always be grateful to be a part of the MSO family.”

Dione started learning the violin at a very young age of 5. Since then, she has been fascinated with the instrument and continuously trained. She was semi-finalist in the National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) in 2016.

In 2019, Dione officially became a member of the MSO and has performed with the orchestra in its gala concerts, special concerts, outreach concerts, and tours including its first international concert tour in the 5th Hunhe River Symphony Art Festival held in the Shenjing Grand Theater, Shenyang, China in 2019.
