Annela Esperanza Salva

Strings | Violin 2

Annela started her violin lessons when she was 13 years old at the St. Scholastica’s College Manila. She joined Manila Symphony Orchestra in 2012 and became an official member in 2017. She has performed with MSO in its gala concerts, special concerts, outreach concerts and tours, including MSO’s first international in the 5th Hunhe River Symphony Art Festival held in the Shenjing Grand Theater, Shenyang, China in 2019.

Annela graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Bachelor of Music major in Violin Performance from St. Scholastica’s College Manila and went under the tutelage of Diomedes Saraza Jr., Noel Martin, Ralph Taylan, Gina Medina-Perez, Jobry Cimafranca, Jedi Villar and Janna Inacay-Texon. She also took private training and Masterclasses with Noel Martin, Gian Gonzales and Diomedes Saraza, Jr. She was a member of the Philippine Research for Developing Instrumental Soloists (PREDIS) in 2018.

Aside from being a violinist, Annela is also a licensed Professional teacher.
